Scratch Pervert and Extended Players founding member and production wunderkid, Harry Love, and laid back lyric spitter, Verb T, have been locked into a loose creative partnership since the late Nineties. But it’s only now that the duo have recognised the inevitable and started working on a studio LP.
This is the first salvo to be fired off from the aforesaid album and the three tracks here are pushing all the right buttons.
Rhythm and arrangement wise the pair are strictly old skool, Love knocking out head nodding rhythms over which Verb drips his gravel like flow - evoking far too many nights spent in smoke filled basements. All boding extremely well for the LP’s release later this summer.
