Sofa Surfers have never really quite achieved the attention they deserve, maybe because their groove was to some extent stolen by Kruder and Dorfmeister.
Here ‘White Noise’, featuring Mani Obeya, is plucked from their new LP and given faithful re-workings by Kid Loco and Stereo Mcs.
As good as Loco’s version is, it’s perhaps too polite when compared to Stereo Mcs booty shaking vision, which turns out to be one of the better things the Stereo’s have done recently.
