I should probably pretend that I am totally familiar with these Ozzie Rock/Drum & Bass pioneers, but the turth is, besides seeing their name banded about all over the place, I know nothing. Wasn't there a 15 piece metal band of the same name?

Big beats, big guitars and squidgy synths of this can’t be played quietly like I did at first. It doesn’t work, feels like computer game music (which is exactly what it is).

'Granite' needs to be cranked up through a Funktion 1 system after midnight, at that precise moment when you think you are starting to hate this club/festival/squat/whatever and walk into a room to find everyone with their freak on.

Then it makes perfect sense. In fact, I've re-wired my front room speakers for their full effect. So if you have a crappy sound system or are playing music through your TV please, please don’t buy this record – you will ruin it.
