The My My trio follow their ‘Klatta’ release with the minimal madness of ‘Serpentine’. In its essence it’s well executed techo, with tight drums that evolve through subtle changes into a well thought ut series of crescendos and troughs. But it’s the off the edge noises and disco bleeps that put this apart from the flock.
‘Backdoor Pilot’ is a serviceable piece of Dance floor action, but it’s the final track, ‘Small steps’ that really unleashed the dance floor potential here, with a Physical feeling minimal shuffle, littered with lunar landing samples.
