Only about six months late MT have got round to reviewing this single. Was out way back when November 7th when Music Towers was only a fetus in our developers tummy , said I would cover it and never did. Time to get my shit together and fix those cracks.

The double A side Fix The Cracks/Get Your Shit Together released on Polydor is carrying on the current theme of the 90's was a bit shit lets go back to the 80's and start again This time in the theme of Angry suburban shouty guitar music brought to you by Dubliners: Humanzi.

Fix the Cracks is good in 'I am too drunk staggering around a half filled pub wondering if I am going to be beaten up for talking to this lady with big blonde hair, ahh whatever I'll ask her to marry me, your boyfriend is the doorman?' kind of way. Driving bass line and 100% post punk vocals and feel, sounds Great have a listen if you like click here.

Then does it sit on the Ipod for long? Uh oh, it doesn't do enough, and lingers on a couple of minutes longer then it needs to... Fix the Cracks has a middle eight where the band plays the same riff again and again and again, almost exactly like they have been playing the whole song. This is 2006, I don't have two minutes to spare! If you don't have anywhere to take a song. Don't take it anywhere finish the fuck. Leave it short and sweet.

Get your shit together is doing a lot more musically and the instruments are weaving around each other in weaved around in indie disco love. Although quite exactly what I am getting together remains to be seen. If you like the Indie Disco Love then Humanzi are currently touring the UK.
