The cover for this is so bad, I had to put this EP straight in the CD player. Low-fi mid-nineties sound, reminding me of the Redeye and Bull & Gate, and drinking Newcastle Brown Ale as a trendy drink.
There's a bad B-movie horn sound, that simply must have been done on a little brothers' ASDA keyboard. 'Up Great Britain' is a totally enjoyable track of British self-loathing. "In Great Britain there are bombs in shoes, Nobody cares because they have Itunes". A day on London's Underground, watching the drones plug into ipods, makes me long for hard days' work in the trenches.
Hello Wembley - Love it.
