Plucked from Fink’s forthcoming album, ‘Pretty Little Things’ is a soulful piece of singer/ song writing from Brighton’s talented and consistently inventive producer. Recorded in his Seven Dials studio, ’Pretty Little Things’ is set to a guitar slapping hip-soul beat and oozes with style and musicality - think an acoustic, folky Omar. It’s probably too good to get radio play listed and is too inventive to be its own friend in this respect. Meanwhile ‘Biscuits‘, a bluesy laid back track, probably discounts itself from radio play candidature by the prominent use of the word “shit” in the lyrics. Having said all this, I’ll eat my digestive if Gilles Peterson isn’t caning them both.
