Cajuan – ‘Raven’ (Fine)
Cajuan serves out his second disc for Fine, and very good it is too. The main ‘Moog Mix’ revolves a trippy keyboard line onto a bass heavey groove, but his real intentions come through with his ‘Metro Rave’. This smoothes out the keyboard’s idiosyncrasy and staples it to the dancefloor with a turbo-disco bassline; which taxi’s the track into take off position for the build. Rounding off the package, and aiming at the less frantic disco rooms, Versatile’s Joakim sprinkles ‘Raven’ with unexpected chirrupy keyboards – letting chinks of light into the Gothic raving madness.
