Ironically for someone who used to suffer panic attacks he now appears fearless, it seems that nothing and no one crosses Jamie T's path without the possibility of getting used on one of his tracks and its his party your invited to.

Humorous, tuneful, and jarring, he chronicles the pleasure and pain of his short existence so far and makes a feast for those patient enough to see through the illusion of scrappy production. It's all in the plan stan. Comparisons to other singer-songwriters are inevitable and unecessary, he writes with a spirit of his own although his influences are obvious.

Thumping rythmic bass of 'brand new bass guitar' we share the joy, galloping through the teenage yearning of 'Salvador', with a second hand dress and the lips of a temptress and the tortured, terrified and raging scream of LOOOONNNNDONNNNN the sorry tale of Shiela. I guess the carpet weren't rolled out, poor cow. The drunken soothing of Calm Down Dearest and so it continues. Line upon line unravels with almost too much to handle and rewards the listener with lryical gems like Kings and Queens of the clubs evolved from pubs, bar stool banshee howled out at me or Crazy Billy Jay Jones, who robs banks just for the shits There's not one duff track on this inspiring, fresh, and i'd say brave, but i get the feeling that this is Jamie T - raw, energetic, uncompromising.

Listen and listen again. 2007 holds great things for Jamie and i hope he has a ball.
