Celebrating Germany’s Green and Blue festival, these live mixes by Loco Dice and Ricardo Villalobos’ give pasty perfect studio mix CDs a needed kick in the right direction. For the most part the transitions here are of course handled with expert precision, but where the cross fades get the chunky, the excitement is increased by the experience, rather than diminished. Between the two DJs we get more contrast between a minimal start and rising peaks from Loco and darker, funky twists from the ever excellent Villalobos.
