So according to that rule Mastodon arguably could be spearheading a riff heavy wave of massive metal about tectonic plates and equally giant beasties.

All f**king big metal songs that will be too long and too loud for your average disco. Into Abaddon is a mountainscape of big riffs, chugging rolls, it is great it is a little bit of heaven. If heaven is full of fighting and slayer fans.

 

It is early on Monday morning, and it has truly blown away any thought of cobwebs or the ability to hear any sort of phone or doorbell. Put me right back on track of pulling out my Best Of Megadeth CD, and reminding me why I have long hair.

 

If I have one criticism, I wouldn’t have minded a two or three minutes gem in there, so I can play it out for those dancefloors when you know you can drop something fuckhard on, without too many people looking at you like you just gave them herpes.
