This camp cowboy riding a kiddies merrygoround bunny instantly jumps out from the pile of CD’s oozing hip 21st century sentiments.

The hype is labelled as a new David Bowie… think it might be a little early to say about that. But his does dress up nice and a bit fae if that is what they mean. Apparently Mr Wolf has been a virtuoso on all intruments since he has been six years old… Hold on I am just copying what they said on Newsnight, Hold on… why is he on Newsnight?

What about the Album?

The opener Overture is great big track played it out kind of sounds like a big beat version of the Gary Jules cover of Mad World.

Accident & Emergency Has very Killers feel - funny how when there is a distinct sound a lot of songs come through seeming to ape it. Or are the Killers an acute point of a movement. Punk happened in many places at once, so did the 60’s folk movement. So what would this be? Well crafted, well produced loadsofmoneynotreallyindiemusic (for girls) movement ?

Magpie a rolling hill of a song, has a surprise vocal from Marianne Faithful take you by the throat after a couple of minutes. Really takes the track out of the comfort zone that had been built. Always a good thing.

If you like Regina Spektors stands to reason you will like this album. realm and track like scret garden like a modern tome waits compesition of found sounds.

Highly accomplished, from the gentle lyrical lines to the electronic incidentals. Strings pop in for bar here and there and disappear for a song or two. The big beats that come in are as near to hooks as the album has and very enjoyable but I can’t help thing that the quality of the squidgy noise and beats isn’t quite up there with what Justice or Tunng get out of a their gadgets.

Just when I think the maudlin vocals are too much the distortion of Secret Garden wakes me up.

Own it you bandit: 2/2
