I was really looking forward to this, someone else's party tunes, should help my own parties be easier. Sly and the Family Stone open this up with 'If You Want Me To Stay', it's a great track... but a bit old, dare I say it. And not exactly a rare cut. So onto the next track....N*E*R*D? Oh. If this album were a gig, the line for that bathroom would've just got bigger.

If I was at somebody else's party, thid would feel a bit all bit like a South African one in london in the late 90s. LCD Soundsystem's 'Someone Great', yup, definately a TNT reader on the pull. I feel compelled to lie under some dreamcatcher on a futon. Give me a break, throw me a curveball.

Franki Valli & The Four Seasons, 'Beggin' is an amazing haunting song and this record goes in the record box alone for this maked with big number 8 in marker pen on the CD. But overall this is very safe, very hip, very much for the late-thirty year-old that longs for the good old days of the Jazz Cafe. There's nothing that I haven't heard before, nothing that makes me wonder. To seal this sentiment Toots & The Maytals - '54-46' another timeless classic. So I am in the mood.

Lovebox Volume 2: Festival and Fiestas is a good compilation album, and for £8.98 on Amazon is a total steal. Try and buy these tracks on iTunes and you'll be spending £30 odd quid for low quality versions. But compared to Andy Votel, or Andy Weatherall or Kitsune Mason or what Fabric is putting out these days, it's safe, old, un-original with nothing so exciting it makes me wet my pants.

So what track is making you wet your pants?

THIS MAKES ME SHIT MYSELF
