These southern rock sisters heard 'OK Computer' and thought they had it in them to make music. Sound promising lady kid rockers with impeccable taste. This is their second album…

…lets hope they never make a third.

'Many Funerals' – not Evanescence – not indie, Nice riff break, but nothing else. 'Invasion' has a spectre of Tears for Fears on this. 'Taking Control' is a exercise in being devoid of dynamics…who produced this ? Michael Bolton?

No, actually most of this album is produced by one Richard Gibbs - some bad taste freak who produced the recent Dr. Dolittle and Big Momma's House films, also ruined the treatment of Queen of the Damned. This guy has less taste than a McDonalds Big Mac, yet still somehow was allowed near a Tom Waits record once.

Back to Eisley - 'Go Away' conjures up a tinge of Regina Spektor, but without any hooks or quirks. Should I have eaten those two sausages left over from camping? Thinking that was a bad idea, I feel faint.

Vocals are doing some clever dicking around on 'I could have been there for you' but it is too little too late. 'Come Clean' – this record is awful. Who the fuck is it aimed at? Pop market maybe. I am in the mood to smash it up.

Oh, can I be bothered with the rest of it? Trudge trudge… Nah, same lacklustre nonsense – and this is the third time I have tried to find something nice to say about the record and failed miserbaly each time.

If you like po-faced, whimisical lady MOR indie rock that has neither wit or quirk, then this record is for you. Basically a complete waste of everyone's time. Why the fuck were they on the Reading & Leeds bill? Maybe they are different live – if anyone has seen them please write in. Hey this keyboard has a comma button, excellent.

If you want to check out my favourite band of the day: Prana – Bird Song. Malaysian Bad Brains… They say Don't Mess with Texas and I agree.
