If rumours coming from several noteworthy US sources are to be believed, the oft-rumoured Van Halen re-union will be announced at a press conference in Los Angeles next week.

A reunion featuring original members Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen, and original vocalist David Lee Roth was mooted back at the start of the year, but Eddie Van Halen entering rehab for undisclosed reasons in March stifled the hubbub somewhat.

If it does go ahead, it will be the first time in over twenty years that David Lee Roth will have performed with the band.
