The UK government is putting £322 million behind getting every child to develop a musical talent. A new website is devoted to the idea, allowing teachers to download popular songs for the class room. New instruments such as flutes, violins, and African drums look set to flood the class room.
The plans include free music tuition for every primary school kid for a year, in order for them to have a grounding in at least one instrument. Considering every other person has a band these days anyway, Music Towers thinks this is brilliant news - our next generation is set for talent.
With ukuleles set to eclipse recorders, drums and guitars are more popular then violins. We a developing a a youth of rockers! Recently discovered anybody of any age can play music – it is never too late to learn, just gets a little harder when you get older. Also it makes people happy making music, probably a pretty good idea to make all those hoodies do some barbershop quartets.
