Reformed 90s pop-darlings Take That are to have a musical based on their songs tour the UK later in the year. Provisionally-titled "Never Forget", the show will open at the Millennium Centre, Cardiff, sometime this summer.

Like the other raft of tedious musicals based around songs by a particular group, the story isn't actually about the band itself - but instead will be a "feel-good comedy about love, friendship, ambition and betrayal", centred around a fictional Take That tribute act.

People burned effigies outside performances of "Jerry Springer: The Opera" due to alleged religious intolerance. But surely all creeds can unite behind a pogrom against the people responsible for giving birth to this abortion of good taste?
