The Subways have, on doctors advice either cancelled or postponed all tour plans up to the end of May 2006. This includes their UK tour (Bristol & Shepherds Bush to be rescheduled), French tour (cancelled), May US tour (cancelled) including Coachella Festival (cancelled) and Hi Fi Festival North & South (cancelled).
A statement on the bands official website said ""After consulting with doctors and throat specialists, agreed diagnosis was made that Billy has developed nodules on his vocal chords. Billy has been advised to halt all current touring and treat the condition. It is hoped by the end of May we will be in a position to reschedule the cancelled UK Dates. Billy, Charlotte and Josh are obviously hugely disappointed and frustrated by the current situation and look forward to playing again as soon as possible".
