Spiralfrog, the internet service that promised to give free songs for advertising, seems to be burning money at such a ridiculous rate that it might not see itself lasting to Summer 2008.

According to the financial filings required by the company's investors, and dug up by Joseph Weisenthal at PaidContent, the company has reported a Quarter 3 loss of $3.4 million on revenue of only $20,400, leaving only $2.3 million in the company's bank account.

Apparently they are going start hiring some bloggers, to try and build a buzz about the service - thats's their answer to fix the blighter. But considering the press they have already gathered they might find the next quarter tough going.

All rings of 'Springtime for Hitler' to me...
