Sony BMG is to launch new independent division called Red Ink.

Red Independent Network (Redink) is looking to build and establish alternative channels to develop, sign and develop new artists. A sister company to Red in the USA, will offer artists and independent labels the potential for distribution, marketing, promotion and sales in major international markets.
