Snow Patrol sticksmith, Jonny Quinn, has broken his arm while out snowboarding. Despite this, I still can't think of a decent quip to link 'Snow Patrol' and 'Snow Boarding'. Reports that he crashed on purpose just so he wouldn't have to provide rhythm to Snow Patrol's awful, awful MOR rubbish are completely unfounded.

Quinn, who once echoed a whole generation by saying "You should make every album as if its your last" (sadly not the case with Snow Patrol), has pulled out of the band's upcoming European and Australia tour which starts in March. Former Therapy? drummer Graham Hopkins has been drafted in to sit on the vacant drum stool until Quinn's arm has healed.

Last year, Virgin FM listeners voted "Chasing Cars" as The Best Song Ever. The wolf then proceeded to dwell with the lamb, the leopard lay down with the kid, and the Biblical end of days seemed that much closer.
