Rough Trade's online store seems to have gone into a flurry of activity today. They are banging on about the seminal band The Raincoats. An all-girl post punk group that Kurt Cobain sited in his list of 50 favourite things.

"When I listen to The Raincoats I feel as if I'm a stowaway in an attic, violating and in the dark. Rather than listening to them I feel like I'm listening in on them."
And this guy went on to commit suicide? Blow a goat.

But arguably more exciting there are exclusive releases from these artists from this afternoon. Bromhead's Jacket, Aluminium (White Stripes under a previous monikor), Tapes N Tapes, Franz Ferdinand and find me a person that doesn't like ... Peter Bjorn and John.
