Well, it seems the first raft of acts have been announced for this year’s O2 Wireless, the four-day faux-festival in London’s Hyde Park that seemingly shits out sponsorship like a goose with diarrhoea.

Fat Bo Slim has been announced as headliner for the third day, with both Underworld, and Bootsy Collins (!) being announced for the same day. That’d be 5 July, for those of you marking this date in your diaries.

In order to maximise the press coverage from mugs like us, further headliners and acts will be dripped out, leaked out, and finally shouted out over the next week or so. So if you fancy all the downsides of festivals (over-priced food and drink, idiots running amok in a semi-lawless environment, horrendously inconsistent sound quality) without any of the things that make festivals….festival-ly (like the camping…) then keep ‘em peeled for more news stories to come.
