In what comes as a surprise to no-one, Jimmy Page has confirmed that despite the enormous success of their December show at London's 02 Arena, there are no immediate plans for Led Zeppelin to play anymore shows.

Speaking in Tokyo on a promotional jaunt for the band's best-of, 'Mothership', Page has confirmed that there will be nothing from the rock gods till September at the earliest. Fellow Led Zeppelin member, Robert Plant, will be touring his collaborative album with Alison Krauss, 'Raising Sand' until then. The guitarist's statement confirms speculation of delays to further Led Zep live shows that arose once the Plant/Krauss world tour was announced.

Good old Jimmy Page seemed a bit weary: "The amount of work that we put into the 02, both for ourselves rehearsing and also for the staging of it, was probably what you'd put into a world tour anyway."
