We were right! As previosuly reported on Music Towers, former Mean Fiddler mogul, Vince Power, has formally announced his foray back into festivals in an interview to the BBC. Power cites it as "a back to basics" event called A Day At Hop Farm. It's to be held in Tonbridge in Kent, and is being billed as being free of branding, registrations and VIP areas.
The only act announced so far is Neil Young, who has often toured with a rather nice banner behind him that says 'Fuck ClearChannel', the well-known radio and advertising hoarding company with known right-wing roots.
More acts are to be announced in a bit.
