Apparently Madonna is considering leaving Warner Music Group in favour of life without a traditional record contract. The New York Post says that she is considering an all-encompassing music deal with entertainment mammoths, Live Nation, and that could be worth more than $100 million.
If the deal goes ahead Live Nation would create a Madonna arm that would manage all things Madge related. From albums, touring, merchandise and sponsorships, all over a multi-year period. The joint venture company would then look to enter into an third party agreements to handle distribution and marketing support of any Madonna album releases.
