God this is lazy journalism... Cut and paste of the press release..> Sorry I am on the phone talking about the new website

Following their recent No1 chart debut with ‘The Age Of The Understatement, THE LAST SHADOW PUPPETS will make their full live debut at the world famous twin sites over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The project of Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner and The Rascals’ Miles Kane have yet to confirm any further live shows so these performances will be the first chance for fans to hear the band perform live.

The band will take to the NME / Radio One Stage on Friday 22nd August at Leeds Festival and Sunday 24th August at Reading Festival as co-headliners prior to the previously announced headline set from The Cribs. This is a real ‘get there early’ moment in the classic Reading and Leeds tradition. Sure to be another unique festival moment at the twin sites that is talked about for years to come, these shows underline why the Reading and Leeds Festival stands as one of the world’s most important and well known live events and was once again voted the ‘Live Event Of The Year’ by readers of the NME at their 2008 Awards.
