Over so slightly boring indie beat combo Larrikin Love have officially split up. There's been word of this on the grapevine for ages - vocalist Ed Larrikin has reportedly been recording a solo record in the last month. Jamie T apparently dedicated a song to them onstage at the Sheperd's Bush Empire last night in wake of the split.

To be honest, I'm not in the least bit bothered - they stitched my flatmate up when he was supposed to interview them in Nottingham for a magazine feature. Apparently they'd gone off drinking and forgotten all about it.
