Astoria 250

In an odd twist of fate, the London Astoria 2 (or LA2 as it was usually referred to) is to return at the end of the week. The venue was renamed the Mean Fiddler after the Festival company of the same name bought it in 2000, after their original venue in Harlesden.

Recent news that the parent company of Mean Fiddler, entertainment giants Live Nation, is to sell the brand name and remaining venues (excluding the Astoria) to the Mama Group plc means that the venue can no longer use the Mean Fiddler name. The venue will have to use it's original name the LA2.
