Former BBC Radio 1 DJ, Kevin Greening, died after a "sex and drugs binge", investigators into his death have announced. "Large" quantities of cocaine, ecstacy and GHB were discovered following a post-mortem.

The 44 year-old radio presenter, who rose to public prominence in the 1990s when he co-hosted the Radio 1 breakfast show with Zoe Ball, is believed to have died of a heart attack as a result. Greening's partner was arrested on suspicion of murder and supplying class-A drugs at the scene. The murder charge was subsequently dropped, and he is currently out on bail for the drugs charges.

Greening's former agent, who initially announced that the DJ had died peacefully in his sleep, has yet to comment on this new announcement.
