HMV troubles continue and Take That and X factor can't help them. HMV have warned that their profits will be at the very bottom of their predictions.

The value of the UK music market, including digital downloading, fell by 14 percent during October and November, HMV said in a statement on Wednesday.

Chief Executive Simon Fox said."We are likely to come in at the bottom end of City expectations."

Investment banks had been forecasting year pretax profit anywhere between 69 million pounds ($135 million) and 90 million. HMV said the bottom end of the range was 68-69 million pounds.

Still profit though isn't it? HMV isn't as dead as the headline says, just on decline. And what can they do to counter this? Spending 2 million pounds on a very crap download service can't help. I hope heads rolled over that polava.
