The nominations for the 50th Grammy Awards have been announced, with Kanye West and Amy Winehouse leading the field, with 8 and 6 nominations respectively. Closely following them are Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, Timbaland, T-Pain and Justin Timberlake, all of whom received 5 nominations.

And before you ask, Song Of The Year is for the songwriting, Record Of The Year is for the overall finished release. Do you see?

Music Towers favourites to take home a bunch those Ed Banger lads Justice  (who incidentally interviewed way back in feb 06), and Plain White Ts, maybe that there Amy Winehouse as she performs via webcam from her crackhouse.
