Glastonbury: More Official Announcements

Bit of a multi-parter this one:
First off, the headliners have been confirmed as Arctic Monkeys, The Killers and The Who, with second billing going to Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks and Kasabian on the respective nights. Considering Michael Eavis has slammed the Red Hot Chili Peppers in the past for being "too bland", you've got to think his Saturday night line-up is a bit rich. Especially as Damien Rice is also set to play this year, headlining the acoustic stage.
The second Glastonbury-related bit of news is that the license for the festival has been extended till 2010, and there will be 27,000 more tickets this year - of which 22,500 will be coach-package tickets. Which won't matter one iota, as they're still all gonna go on April 1st and leave thousands disappointed.
And Shirley Bassey is going to perform. On the Sunday. Maybe she'll sing that cover of "Get The Party Started". But sadly I don't think she's going to do it in a giant auditorium made out of ice, to an audience of Twiggy and her model friends.
