Despite assurances to the contrary earlier this week, it appears that Fopp are calling in the administrators. Although they still deny they are not going into administration, merely going through "genuine and lengthy negotiations with its bank".

This follows reports that many staff at Fopp are not getting paid this month's wages. The chain is no longer accepting online sales, and all card payments have been stopped at stores. It's cash only. Couple that with the fact that they've already ceased ordering stock from their book suppliers, and haven't been receiving new releases from the majors for a few weeks now....
