As at 7:30 pm today a fire broke out on the northside of the Regents canal at the Canal Market and seems to be continuing to blaze under 30 foot flames. Centered around the area just where the Silverlink train bridge and that convenient 'Camden' Sign. The burning market is being fought by over 100 firefighters and 20 vehicles fighting to bring it under control.
Although no reports of casualities have been made the flames have been moving about a bit and have jumped over to Amy Winehouse's notorious drinking den. The Hawley Arms home to recently launched label Bumpman records and countless paparazzi stories seems to be burning down. Last reports is that 'It looks like it is done for' as flames poured out of the second floor windows.
Fancy response teams are on side in case this is all about exploding gas canisters and other such nasties that are in the lockups and workshops about the back.
Some drinking revellers heard a big bang around when the fire started and windows break. The cause is yet is to be discovered.
