Festival Republic, promoters of Reading and Leeds Fetivals, have unfortunately had to announce that the Vineland Music Festival has been postponed until 2009.
Originally sceduled for planned for August 8-10, the rock festival was due to take place in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park and was looking like being set-up as a stateside sister festival to Reading and Leeds. In a press statement, Festival Republic say the decision comes after considering bands already touring through the area and the Northeast's festival traffic. This of course follows the announcement by the Coachella Festival that they had confirmed plans for the All Points West Music & Arts Festival on the same weekend.
