Disco D commits suicide
Wednesday, January 24, 2007
Rising hip hop producer and remixer, Disco D, whose real name was David Shayman, has been found dead in New York yesterday. It appears that he had committed suicide.
Shayman, who had produced tracks for 50 Cent and even Kevin Federline, was known to suffer from bipolar manic depression. Friends have stated that the producer, who has remixed songs for Pharrell, Usher and Christina Milian, was suffering from depression following a break-up with his fiancé and late payments for some of his projects.
