Deep Purple have pulled out from their appearance at Baalback in Lebabnon. They apparently tried to go ahead with the gig, but once Isareli bombs landed in the city they were forced to cancel the show.

Last week, the band put out a statement saying the rockers were determined to go through with the trip, but that was before violence spread to the Baalbec area.

Liza Minnelli and Lebanese diva Fairouz have also canceled their summer shows.
