America's owner of radio Clear Channel has been fielding a bunch of private equity investor offers this week. It is interesting how companies shuffle from public to private to raise cash. Do anything! Just raise more money is the order of the day. Government legislation doesn't matter when you have money. Money makes the world go round (the bend).

Clear Channel cleverly spun off their live entertainment arm and created wealth. Now they are looking at privatising the mothership. $27.6 billion dollars is the offer. Although the board is happy as they plan their invasion of small central american islands. The investors want MORE. GIVE THEM MORE MONEY - god knows the suit's deserve it for being so devoid of soul, their only skill being able to commute and follow whitey to the moon.

But what does this all mean? Buy Clear Channel shares - and check the offers.

Meanwhile your humble US radio listener is looking at K-Rock bringing you Led Zep hour every day for the next hundred years.

Ah - If only we had such a thing in the UK.
