Global Radio has finalised its takeover of a bunched of dummed down radio stations Heart, Galaxy and LBC brands from Chrysalis.

Shareholders have approved the deal to flog the radio stations to Global for £170m in total. The deal was brokered last month after Chrysalis reviewed its radio portfolio and decided to sell.

Global Radio is a newly formed investment vehicle put together for the sole reason of purchasing the radio brands from Chrysalis.
