Lily Allen was this year’s big “loser”, not picking up any of the four awards she was nominated for – Music Towers reckons she is much more deserving of British Breakthrough than the rather plodding Fratellis. Biggest shock of the night was Orson picking up International Breakthrough Act – ahead of Gnarls Berkeley no less.

 

Despite the oft-mentioned First-Time-Live-Since-Sam-Fox-And-Mick-Fleetwood-ness of the ceremony, it all went without a hitch. Except Joss Stone. Who not only appears to have acquired the dress sense of a hooker from “Shaft”, but appears to have gone seven shades of batshit as well. Rock, and indeed, roll!
