Brighton Live 2008

You know the only phrase in the English language Music Towers likes more than “FREE BACON ROLLS”? It’s simple: “FREE GIGS”. If you’re lucky enough to find yourself in Brighton between September 23 and 27, then you’ll get nearly a hundred of the buggers to gorge yourself on.

Returning for its fifth year, Brighton Live, sees literally hundreds of bands performing across the city by the sea, for free. De nada. Zilch. Amongst those performing are the previously-featured-on-Music Towers-types, Gloria Cycles, Floors and Walls, Transformer, Drookit Dogs, Sweet Sweet Lies, Doll & The Kicks, The Pursuit, Mascara and The Perils. You can grab a few shandies along the way, be sick in a bin, and still find some time to see another band – magic.

This is normally where we’d hawk out a link to get yourself some tickets, but as we keep saying: IT’S ALL FREE. Instead why not bust over to their website and plan who you’re going to see?
