Virgin Group sells V2. Virgin has sold its stake to the US investment bank Morgan Stanley bringing their stake to 95%.

Morgan Stanley plans on being a passive investor and intends on keeping the current management, (a business euphemism for 'fire everyone').

Artists on V2 include Grandaddy, The Datsuns, Bloc Party, Nitin Sawney, Jungle Brothers & Stanton Warriors among many others
