Kind of not really to do with music, but Google just bought You Tube for a corker $1.65 Billion. All weekend the internet was alive with talks of the two doing a deal. And now the website youtube that was only launched last year has been googled. Quite amazing as at the same time Google launched google video, but the simple design and ease of youtube won through.

The final deal came after a day of Music Video distrobution deals with Universal Music, BMG, Warner & Sony all agreeing to put their back catalogue of Video promotions on the website. Now this content, is to be paid for Google adwords, in a big phat revenue sharing deal.
