Did anyone read the Daily Mail last month? Stupid question, I know you all did. I was in a state of shock and awe to find out about this new cult sweeping the teenagers of the UK Called EMO.

The Dianna Tribute paper printed an article under the moniker EMO cult warning for parents a wonderfully insightful and well balanced piece into the subculture of Emotional Hardcore. And I must say the writer Sarah Sands got the article spot on. Click here for original article

“There is a also a term which is new to me and amounts to a much more dangerous teenage cult. The Emos - short for Emotional - regard themselves as a cool, young sub-set of the Goths.

Although the look is similar, the point of distinction, frightening for schools and parents, is a celebration of self harm. ”

That’s what this country needs more people like Sarah Sands so we can expose this dark undercurrent of Emotional Hardcore fans and dodgy haircuts.

She goes on to discover the band Adam And Andrew and their song Dear Diary

'Stop my breathing and slit my throat, I must be an Emo.
I don't jump around when I go to shows, I must be an Emo.
Dye in my hair and polish on my toes, I must be an Emo. I play guitar and write suicide notes, I must be an Emo.'

I wonder if she went undercover to discover this dark seedy cult.
We will keep the Goths & Punks but your can keep the Emo kids.

Way back in 1939 Rothermere sent Hitler a telegram in support of Germany's invasion of the Sudetenland, and expressing the hope that 'Adolf the Great' would become a popular figure in England...
