Rolo Tomassi – loved and misunderstood in equal measures. Their debut album, Hysterics, out now on Hassle Records, caused quite a bit of a furore when it came out in September. With a blend of Fantomas-style mania, shredding hardcore manoeuvres, and an average age that makes most of us look like OAPs, the Sheffield five-piece certainly are an opinion splitter.

The band are set to tour the UK next month, supporting Brighton hardcore mob, The Host Of A Thousand. It might be the last chance you get to catch them in venues as small as The Borderline, so get your skates on and get yourself tickets while there’s still time.
