So, the late-great, wife-beating angry man, Ike Turner, died of a cocaine overdose, a Californian coroner submitted yesterday. Of course, his cardiovasculiar disease and years of bad living didn't help, but the 76 year-old finally bought it after a few lines of the naughty salt.
According to his biography, Ike had a long-standing cocaine problem, claiming to have spent over $11million on the evil stuff in the 70s and 80s, and probably more in the 90s and naughties as well it would seem.
Unfortunately after his death, he has had to cancel his Jazz Cafe date on the 6-7th of April. Shame.
