Somewhat macabrely, Fall Out Boy have decided to run a competition to win promotional tour posters - painted with their own blood.
The band are planning to give away a one-off piece of promotional art in each of the 45 cities on their US tour. And each poster will have had samples of all four of the bands' members' blood mixed in with it.
Justifying it as "some light on the much-needed support for blood drives", bassist Pete Wentz, bleated. Surely it would've been much better to support the blood drives by actually giving them some blood, instead of smearing it all over a canvas?
Of course, it could've been a lot worse. Pete likes to produce a whole other kind of bodily fluid, after all.
