It seems the mystery of the Coachella Pig has ended. The giant inflatable pig in question, around about the size of a bus and marked with political slogans, flew off into the night during Roger Walters' headlining set at the festival on Sunday. The festival subsequently offered a reward of $10,000 dollars and free entry into the festival for life for anyone who could return their giant blow-up porker.

It seems that the remains of the pig have been found at the Hideaway Golf Club in La Quinta. Two couples each found half of the tattered vinyl remains of the inflatable, which had floated several miles before meeting its sorry end.

Investigators for Coachella are still trying to get to the bottom of how the aerial porcine beast managed to slip loose  in the first place.
