The horsey Brisbanite redhead entered her Eurovision song contest entry in1996 dead in the middle of a decade of pappy pop. How we scoffed back at the stupid haircuts of the 80’s without realizing how culturally devoid that the 90’s were. Wall to wall shiny glitzy lip syncing and wonder bra’s to well honed dance routines.

Blasting around the world with ‘Ooh ah just a little bit’ she managed to post Number 1's in UK, Isarel, China, Austrailia, Slovina and getting a 12 in the US billboards.

Proof that you don’t need anything but a catchy hook. We all new it was terrible abhorrent crap but compared to everything else in the charts it was pretty average.

So what is she up too these days?

A bit of hunting found she was surprisingly active.

Recently Miss G set up her own label and released a storming eurodance hit called tonights the night. Gina G returns. Charted at number 57 in the UK charts as recently as November last year. Miss G we salute you, a tenacious beast of guile and charm and don’t get me started on your racey red locks. Lets forget about Ooh Ahh and look forward to your splendid future in the music biz.

I also must say that although I look forward to my personally signed copy of the album Fresh I just bought. And I am not sure I can control the excitement before your next project: Gina G the picture book. YES! This book will document the singers career in photo sessions, taken by some of the world's most famous photographers.

Gina’s life in the photo sessions wants to make me pee my pants. Gina also gives a fascinating insight into what happened on the day of some of her favourite photo shoots.

Ok I admit it I love her.
